The billing officer is responsible for accurately preparing invoices for legal services rendered to clients and ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and regulations. They also play a crucial role in liaising with clients to address billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships.

Description

  • Supporting assistants and partners in bill preparation, involving tasks such as verifying client data, calculating billable amounts, and amending invoices.
  • Managing internal billing processes, running billing reports, and collaborating with legal teams to review billing data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assisting in financial audits, credit collection, and resolving payment issues, while responding to billing queries and seeking opportunities for process improvements.

Profile

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Accountancy, coupled with 2 to 5 years of practical experience in administrative financial roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in similar positions within a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • Proficient in Dutch with excellent written and verbal business English skills.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a penchant for working with data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Exhibit a proactive attitude, readiness to go the extra mile, and adeptness at managing multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a proactive and critical thinking mindset.
  • Willingness to learn rapidly, embrace new challenges, with knowledge of SAP 4/Hana considered advantageous.
