As a Logistic Operations Specialist you will report to the Logistic Operations Coordinator.

Client Details

is a multinational manufacturer of chemicals.


  • Organizing and monitoring all inbound operations for assigned product line
  • Managing and monitoring all logistical operations from purchase order until storage (vessels, isotanks, FCL's, bulk and packed products)
  • Requesting transport offers from logistical partners and updating the offer data base, assuring optimum solutions and cost saving opportunities.
  • Handing logistical claims and issues related to logistical processes working in close collaboration with the different stakeholders.
  • Marketing departments and coordinating demand and stock replenishment planning (demand, inventory, days on hand, target stock levels; product disposals and write offs)
  • Implementation and execution of order purchasing policies set up to control and ensure optimum levels of inventory.
  • Participating and assisting during monthly Inventory Performance reporting and alignment on forecast and order planning with the team manager


The Logistics Operations Specialist in question has:

  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving attitude
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the tasks
  • A structured way of working, keeping track of multiple orders in different stages, keeping all stakeholders in the loop, anticipating on issues that might arise.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about specificities to consider when transporting chemical goods.
  • Someone who meticulously maintains records to comply with internal and external procedures and policies.
  • A can-do attitude is an important asset to take up additional responsibilities and to develop your skills. 'No day in the office is the same'
