iTeos Therapeutics is now a world-class biotech in cancer immunotherapy. To carry on its growth, expand its pipeline and reinforce its team, iTeos Therapeutics is looking for a Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities

As Procurement Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the research and development activities of iTeos Therapeutics. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategiesnegotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with suppliers. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders from R&D and G&A functions to define sourcing priorities and support them with the execution, ensuring optimized spending and service satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities are:

Strategic sourcing

  • Follow-up and tracking of site identification and selection progress.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers.
  • Handle full RFI / RFP / RFQ processes.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.

Supplier and contract management :

  • Manage relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate performance.
  • Continuous monitoring of existing contract to track renewal and termination.

Cost management :

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Belgium and US to implement cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for sourcing optimization.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities.

Collaboration and compliance :

  • Work closely with R&D and G&A functional teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between functions and Finance to ensure seamless and compliant procurement processes.
  • Monitor the adequate usage of procurement systems and tools within our ERP system (NetSuite) while training and coaching your colleagues on its usage.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Science, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, or similar relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Min. 2 years of experience as a Procurement Manager in the life science industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract negotiations.
  • Good knowledge of procurement best practices and ability to implement those with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You are fluent in English and any other national language is a plus (preferably French or Dutch).
  • positive and can-do attitude, coupled with great interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
